SILVER SCHEME

Silver Service delivers a wide range of services, support, and activities for older residents aimed at reducing social isolation, improving physical and mental wellbeing, and helping people to live happier, healthier life.

Now in its 13th year of operation, the “Silver Service” is regarded as a “life saver” by many of its participants, is highly regarded by partner organisations and statutory services and indeed was instrumental in helping Manor Farm Community Association gain the coveted Queens Award for Voluntary Service back in June 2018.

“I cannot put into words what the Silver Service has done for me. it’s literally saved my life . The staff are wonderful, and nothing is too much trouble. It’s given me a place to go for companionship and for comfort. I’m forever grateful to everyone.”
